Kapalua Trail
The Kapalua Trail can easily be walked at the same time as Dragon’s Teeth. It is a nice, easy meander when you want to be outside but do not want to do anything strenuous.

While most people might arrive in a tropical paradise like Hawaii and head straight for the beach, I took the opposite approach. For my first full day in Maui, I decided to start my day by visiting the “Dragon’s Teeth.” While it would be amazing if they were real dragon’s teeth (which would only happen…
I would like to preface this post by saying that most people will have a different experience than I did in Istanbul. Getting to Istanbul was a struggle for me this summer; the airport was bombed and the military attempted a coup. After much deliberation and discussion with other travelers, I decided to continue…
There are a few things you need to know about Valbona. First, if you are traveling in northern Albania, you need to stop there for a few nights. Second, it is truly in the middle of nowhere, so make sure to stock up on cash to pay for your stay at Hotel Rilindja, and snacks…

I caught a few buses from Ulcinj, Montenegro to Berat, Albania (none of which appeared on the bus schedule- not shocking). Albanians are extremely friendly, so once I arrived in Berat it was easy to find a local to help me…
Ulcinj, Montenegro: The place where you aren’t supposed to work too hard. They have contests for who can be the laziest… Everyone wants to move there now, right?
Taking a quick 3 1/2 hour bus from Sarajevo to Mostar, I arrived in the city of Mostar in the early afternoon. I checked into Taso’s Guesthouse and spent the afternoon exploring the town. Mostar is a picturesque town that is easy to find your way around.
